As if there weren’t enough reasons to meditate , the University of Wisconsin-Madison just published a study suggesting meditation, specifically Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, may relieve chronic inflammation. Why do you care? Because study after study is finding a correlation between inflammation and disease, and not just the nasty stuff that comes to mind when you say inflammation, like Rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease, but diseases as diverse as cancer and depression. No kidding. So go find a quiet room and reduce your inflammation.
